Why don't you pull a Dashi (festival float) with local people on the second day (18-Oct) of Kawagoe festival?
Kawagoe Festival dates from 1648. It has been said that local people pray for their prosperity, abundant crops, and driving away illness by pulling floats residing sacred spirituality through a city.
Townspeople from each area of the city decorate their own floats which march in procession along the main streets of the city. When one float meets with another float at an intersection, musicians on both floats dance and play their own festival music.

It is an experience to pull the festival float of two following towns this year.

Number of participants:(A) Moto-machi-2chome (B) Renjaku-cho 20 persons each town
Participation fee:500 yen

*We prepare a Hanten (happi coat) and a Tenugui (Japanese towel).
*Note: Please wear the shoes of soft bottom such as sneakers or sports shoes not to be hurt next person even if you step on his foot. The high-heeled shoes are impossible.
